MASTER APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Provided enterprise application architecture, development, and support for a number of projects:
Lead Developer for the Document Management and Records Retention suite of applications, including Documentum, Webtop, and Captiva.
Acted as technical lead for the web service aspect of the Integration Team, designing and implemented SOA-based solutions throughout the enterprise.
Provided advanced training and mentoring to team members on language use, OOP design, and best practices.

PROJECT LEAD DEVELOPER

Team Leader of the TRAIN development group, directing all aspects of the project including requirements gathering, specification creation, and code implementation phases of a nation-wide apprentice training and tracking program. The TRAIN project leveraged several key J2EE technologies and 3rd-party tools, including Oracle RDBMS, WebSphere Application Server, Struts application framework, and Jakarta Object-Relational Bridge.




INDUSTRIAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS, INC., Reno, NV  -   August 2001 to August 2002
SENIOR JAVA ARCHITECT / CONSULTANT

Supervised the development and deployment of several commercial software projects including LegacyFaces, Emod and SimplePay. Designed web-based interfaces with J2EE and DB2 to extend the life and usability of legacy AS/400 applications used by the Workers Compensation Insurance industry. Engaged and supervised all facets of the development process from concept to deployment. Developed extensive multimedia demos for various projects.

Designed, developed, and managed a wide variety of applications and projects including:
Intranet database security systems for major resort clients, including the MGM Mirage properties (Mirage, Bellagio, MGM Grand, New York New York, Treasure Island, etc.).
Web-based applications for various film industry clients, including Kevin Costner, Patrick Swayze, Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, and others. These projects included multiplayer games utilizing advanced tools such as Shockwave 3D.
